Truck collides with tractor on highway, man injured
A crash involving a tractor resulted in an injury in Northeast Missouri.
It happened just after 5:00 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 63, right next to Kirksville Regional Airport.
According to a state trooper on scene, a truck driven by a 66-year-old man whose name was not given, was southbound on the highway when it struck the rear of a tractor, driven by a 69-year-old man whose name was also not given.
After running into the tractor, the truck veered left off the side of the roadway and into the ditched median.
The 66-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The state trooper says he was wearing a seatbelt.
