QEW in Beamsville reopened Tuesday evening after closure due to tanker truck spill

All lanes, roads reopened after tanker truck carrying fuel leaks

All traffic on the QEW between Ontario Street in Beamsville and Victoria Ave in Lincoln was diverted after a hazardous material spill on the Toronto-bound part of the highway Tuesday.

The OPP closed a seven-kilometre stretch of the QEW Tuesday afternoon — in both directions — between Ontario Street in Beamsville and Victoria Avenue near Vineland Station following a "dangerous goods spill" from a tanker truck carrying fuel.

The service roads in the area were also closed.
