SCOTIA — Scotia fire crews responded to a pickup truck in the Mohawk River Tuesday morning.

No one was found inside.

Scotia firefighters responded to the scene Tuesday morning after parks worker Nick Macherone spotted the truck on the riverbank, below the Schonowe and Washington avenues intersection at about 8 a.m.

The truck remained on the bank, its front driver's side wheel in the water.

Crews searched the truck, but no one was found inside.

Further details on the incident were not immediately available.
