Car crash on Route 30 in North Huntingdon

A car accident involving a tractor-trailer, a US Foods truck and a pickup truck snarled traffic on Route 30 in Westmoreland County on Monday.

The crash happened in front of the Burger King in North Huntingdon. Sky 4 flew over the scene where a white Ram truck could be seen sandwiched between two tractor-trailers.

The car sustained heavy damage. The Adamsburg Volunteer Fire Department said one male was extricated from a vehicle at the scene.

A portion of Route 30 was closed as crews remained on scene. The road has since reopened.

There's no word on the man's condition or what may have led up to this crash.
