Special Olympics Nevada hosts inaugural Truck Pull event at Cowabunga Bay

Special Olympics Nevada held its first-ever Truck Pull event on Saturday at Cowabunga Bay.

The event featured law enforcement officers from Southern Nevada and other first responders.

They competed in a huge tug-a-war challenge against enormous trucks.

Cade Vereen, the Regional General Manager of Cowabunga Bay said, "We're excited to host Truck O' Treat with a partnership with Special Olympics of Nevada. We have our truck pull happening, a DJ, great food, 20 vendors and we are honored."

There were also family fun activities including music, food, and a Trunk O' Treat.

Participants had to be members of a local law enforcement agency or other first responder agencies.
