WESTFIELD, N.Y. — A man died early Friday morning after being hit by a tractor trailer in Chautauqua County.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, 37-year-old Andrew T Seelbinder of Dunkirk was struck by a semi on Route 394 in the Town of Westfield. The incident happened just before 1:30 a.m. on Friday.

The report said Seelbinder died as a result of his injuries. His name was released by officials later Friday morning.

Police did not say if the tractor trailer driver had any injuries, but they did mention that no charges are expected to be filed from the incident.

New York State Police, along with Westfield Police, Jamestown Police, Westfield Fire, Chautauqua County EMS, and Chautauqua County Coroner Office were at the scene.
