20 people transported to hospital after wreck involving tractor trailers, box truck, bus, and more

20 people were transported to the hospital after a multi-vehicle wreck on the New Jersey Turnpike on Tuesday morning.

The accident happened on October 15th at 11:30 a.m. in Bordentown Township at mile marker 54.5 of the New Jersey Turnpike.

According to CBS News, six vehicles, including two tractor trailers, a bus, a flatbed truck, a box truck, and a van, were involved in the wreck. 20 people were transported to the hospital following the incident. No fatalities were reported, and none of the injuries were described as life-threatening.

At one point, another bus pulled up to the scene to transport the remaining, uninjured bus passengers to their destination.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The roadway was reopened at about 1:45 p.m.
