Dash cam captures dump truck rollover on Mass. highway

A motorist was driving on Route 128/Interstate 95 in Massachusetts when his dashboard camera captured the scary moment when a large dump truck lost control and overturned, throwing dirt on both sides of the busy highway.

The incident, which happened Monday afternoon, caused lane closures in both directions and extensive traffic backups while crews cleaned up the mess.

Video from the dashcam appears to show the dump truck moving sharply across lanes, toward the median, before rolling toward the driver's side. The vehicle lands at the median as dirt spills out onto the roadway.

A separate spill on Tuesday led to a mess of polyurethane across the same highway. That incident occurred in Weston.
